Design Rationale

The narrow long axis turns slices, skewers and pastry into an ordered procession, while curved ends close the composition. Depths from 2.8 to 4 cm hold a little juice without becoming a deep vessel.

Sliced Grilled Meat and Yakitori

Line up cooked beef tongue, pork belly or chicken-and-scallion skewers, placing a small garnish at one end and sauces in separate dishes.

British Fish and Chips

Separate fried fish, prawns and chips into sections, placing lemon at the end and tartar sauce in its own dish.
