RECOMMENDED USE

Recommended Use

American grilled meat and wings, French fish, Japanese sashimi, British pub fried food and Mediterranean cold platters.

PAIRING

Pairing Guidance

Use with Stone Blue dishes for barbecue sauce, soy sauce, tartar sauce and oil-marinated vegetables. Preserve the broad rim as visual spacing and a serving edge.

Suitable Menu Applications

Design Rationale

The wide border turns the food into a central composition rather than filling the entire plate. Slight edge movement contains a modest amount of juice but does not create compartments.

American Grilled Meat and Wings

Group cooked beef, wings and corn in the centre, keeping barbecue sauce and pickles separate so meat juices do not spread across the broad rim.

French Fish Main Course

Centre a fish fillet with potato and asparagus at either side. Let the plate catch a little cooking juice and serve extra sauce in a jug.

Japanese Sashimi and British Fried Food

Line up sashimi or sushi with soy sauce separately, or use the plate for fish fingers and wedges with tartar sauce in its own dish.

Mediterranean Cold Platter

Arrange ham, cheese, roasted pepper and bread in the central area, keeping oil-marinated foods in bowls and leaving the wide rim clear.
